The National Business Crime Solution (NBCS) have produced a detailed guide for the successful management of business crime.

The aim of the guide is to provide a single point of reference to business crime reduction by helping businesses to understand areas of best practice when managing business crime incidents. The NBCS wish to highlight areas of good practice to consequently help to drive national consistently by improving the application of investigations and the coninuity of evidence for both criminal and civil workings.

The guidance has chapters on crime incident management, managing and dealing with vulnerable offenders, reporting crime to police, civil investigations, civil recovery, working with Business Crime Reduction Partnerships (BCRPs) and Business Imporvement Districts (BIDS), and internal theft, fraud prevention and HR screening.
